Delete Account and Data - Family Shopping List

This page explains how users can request deletion of their Family Shopping List account and associated app data. Family Shopping List is a shared shopping list mobile app published by AMSA Technology.

To request deletion of your account and associated app data, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email to hossein.samadipour@gmail.com.
2. Use the subject line: Delete my Family Shopping List account
3. Send the request from the same email address used for the app account, if possible.
4. Include the registered email address in the message.
5. AMSA Technology may ask for confirmation to verify account ownership before deleting the account.

After a valid deletion request, the following data associated with the account may be deleted:

• Firebase Authentication account
• Email address used for registration and login
• User profile/account data
• Household or family group membership data
• Shopping lists created by the user
• Shopping items associated with the user or household, where applicable
• App settings and preferences associated with the account
• Activity or history records associated with the account, where applicable

Family Shopping List supports shared household shopping lists. Some list data may be shared with or connected to other household members. If deleting one user's account would affect remaining household members, AMSA Technology may remove the user's account, email address, and personal identifiers while keeping shared household list data where necessary for the remaining members.

Limited data may be retained for a short period if required for:

• Security
• Fraud prevention
• Abuse prevention
• Legal obligations
• Backup recovery

Retained data will not be used for advertising or marketing.

Deletion requests will normally be processed within 30 days after account ownership has been verified.
